New Satellite @4 degrees east-North Africa

The EUROBIRD™ 4* satellite of Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) has initiated commercial service at the Group’s 4 degrees East position. The satellite’s entry into service at 4 degrees East marks the opening of a new orbital location for Eutelsat, taking to 18 the number of positions currently used by the Group.

EUROBIRD™ 4 provides coverage from 4 degrees East of Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and central Asia in Ku-band frequencies.
